How to Use It (Step by Step)
Find & Highlight Data in Google Sheets Using Sutra Tools
Click on “Find & Highlight Data” from the Sutra Tools panel.
A pop-up will open.
In the “Find” field, enter the value or keyword you want to search for.Choose where to search:
From the Search dropdown, select one of:
Selection – to search within a selected range
Current Sheet
All Sheets
Select a Highlight Color to mark the matching cells.
Optional: Check advanced filters like:
Clear existing formatting
Ignore case
Match entire cell content
Search by Regex
Click “Find & Highlight”.
All matching cells will be instantly highlighted in the selected color.
Split Data Into Multiple Sheets in Google Sheets Using Sutra Tools
Click on “Split Data Into Multiple Sheets”.
A pop-up will open.
In the “Select table” field, choose the range of your table (e.g., A1).Under Split Criteria, select:
For every new value/group in column → Choose the column from the dropdown (e.g., Department or City).
Or, For every so many rows (if splitting by row count).
Optional settings:
Copy first row as header in each worksheet.
Keep source formatting.
Under Name of New Worksheets, choose how to name:
Sequential numbering
Use row number
Use value of a column (with optional prefix/suffix)
Click on “Split Data”.
New sheets will be created—one per group—with corresponding data automatically filled in.
Export Data to JSON in Google Sheets Using Sutra Tools
Click on “Export to JSON”.
A pop-up will open.
Select the Sheet you want to export.
Choose the number of Header Rows (usually 1).
Click “Export”.
A structured JSON file will be instantly generated and downloaded.

Click on “Export to XML”.
A pop-up will open (similar to JSON).
Select the Sheet and define the Header Row.
Click “Export”.
